Today I wanted to share a tutorial for a mini flip card. This tutorial requires very little card making experience and you can use whatever supplies you have on hand. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions about the tutorial.
Instructions
- Cut a piece of cardstock 5 1/2 inches long by 4 1/4 inches wide. I used very vanilla cardstock in this example.
- Cut a piece of designer series paper (dsp) 5 1/4 inches long by 4 inches wide. I used Sand and Sea dsp in my example. If you don’t have any dsp, you can use another piece of cardstock in a different color.
- Adhere the dsp to the base, be sure to center the dsp on the base cardstock.
- Cut another piece of cardstock 6 inches by 3 inches. I used very vanilla cardstock again. This 6×3 piece will be the mini flip card.
- Score the 6 inch side at 3 inches and fold it in half.
- Adhere the mini flip card to the base cardstock centering it on the base.
- Cut a 2 3/4 by 2 3/4 inch piece of dsp (or same color cardstock used in step 2 if you don’t have dsp) and adhere it to the top of your mini flip card making sure to center it.
- Then decorate as desired. I tied a ribbon around the top of the mini flip card. Then I added a strip of dsp on the bottom inside of the mini flip card measuring 3/4 inch by 3 inches wide.
- Get creative! Add some embellishments if you want like gems, sequins or rhinestones. Stamp a sentiment or image on the front or inside or both. Or let the dsp stand alone on the front. It is so pretty I didn’t want to cover it up.
- Share your mini flip card on my Facebook group page. I’d love to see your creation! Let’s inspire each other! https://www.facebook.com/tammylovesstamping
