Handmade card making and papercrafting tips and techniques

About Tammy

Tammy

Welcome to Tammy Loves Stamping.

Love is really an understatement.  I am “addicted” to paper crafting!!! It has been my hobby for over 16 years now.  I have a full-time job as a Technical Support Analyst which can be very stressful at times.  So, paper crafting and making cards is my way to relax and unwind.  Whenever I create a new card, I just can’t wait to share it with someone, like my husband or my followers on Facebook.  I lose all track of time when I am in my craft room making projects.

I have spent so much money over the years on card making supplies that I decided to become an independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (for the second time) and get my supplies at a discount.

I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband, Fred and our cat Lucy.  We have four children and 7 grandchildren.  We plan to retire in a couple years and spend our winters in Tucson, Arizona.  When I retire, I am looking forward to having more free time to “play” and make more cards.  Selling my cards when I retire is another plan of mine but for now I give a lot of them away.

I have donated a lot of my cards to Cards for Kindness and to an assisted living facility by my house. Sometimes I package up a box of cards to give to others as a gift so they have cards on hand to send to others. There are more cards in my craft room than I could ever use, so I am always looking for ways to give them to others so they can spread the joy.  Homemade cards are so special to receive.  It tells the sender that you care enough to spend time making a card just for them.  Customizing my cards for friends and family is another thing I like to do by using a stamp set that relates to the receiver in some way or using their favorite color.

Some of my other hobbies include singing in a women’s chorus, volunteering at church, traveling, reading and participating in a book club as well as swimming (I love the water).  I also knit, and do needlepoint, embroidery and things like that.  I recently made Christmas stockings out of felt and sequins for my two youngest grandkids.

The purpose of this website is to spread my LOVE of stamping to others by posting techniques, tips and tricks.  Let me be your Stamping Up Demonstrator and let’s have some fun stamping together! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.
