Today I have a fun fold to show you called the Mini Easel Fun Fold. It is pretty easy to make and you don’t need a lot of supplies. I hope you give it a try. I love fun folds as you may know, so check out some other posts here on my website for more fun fold tutorials. It would be great if you would share this post with others so they can have fun making the Mini Easel Fun Fold as well. Let’s get started!
Supplies
- Cardstock measuring 8 1/2 ” x 5 1/2″ (card base)

- DSP measuring 4″ x 3/4″ (inside card base)

- Stampin’ Dimensional
- Small piece of card stock or a small die cut (mini easel prop or stand)
Mini Easel Fun Fold Instructions
Take your card base and score it in half along the long side at 4 1/4″
Next take the mini easel mechanism and score it along the long side at 1 1/2″ and 3″
Then attach the white cardstock inside your card base. Along the bottom inside, attach the small strip of DSP to the white cardstock for a nice surprise when the recipient opens the card.
Next attach the non-scored side of the mini easel mechanism to the front of your card base making sure to center it on the base of the card. See pictures below.
After that you will center and attach the DSP (supply item #7) to the mini easel piece (supply item #5). Then attach it to the mini easel mechanism (supply item #2) making sure to only put adhesive between the end of the cardstock and the first score mark at 1 1/2 inches, The top piece should hide the bottom piece of the mechanism when closed. I find it easiest to close the mechanism before adhering the piece over the top so that you can align it properly.
Attach the white cardstock piece (supply item #3) inside the mini easel mechanism as shown above.
Next use a Stampin’ Dimensional to pop up the die cut piece (or small piece of card stock) then adhere it to the bottom part of the inside of the easel mechanism so that it will prop up the easel. This will be your easel stand so it needs the height that the dimensional provides to hold up the easel. See side view below.
Now add some embellishments, stamp your sentiment on the inside of the card base, decorate your envelope and send it on its way to some lucky receipient!
Before you go…
