Front Fold Card

You will love this quick and easy technique that shows off both sides of your designer series paper.  Not sure if it has an official name or not so I am just calling it Front Fold Card technique.  I hope you like it!

Front Fold Card Supplies

cardstock measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
designer series paper (dsp) measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″
snips
circle or hexagon shaped die or paper punch
stamp for you sentiment that will fit on the circle or hexagon
ink that coordinates with your pattern paper and cardstock
embellishments

Front Fold Card Instructions

  1. First score the cardstock at 4-1/4″ to form your card base.
  2. Then take the dsp and on the 5-1/4″ side, use your snips to cut a slit in the middle about 1-1/4″ long (refer to photo)

3. Next, fold back the DSP on both sides.

4. Attach the DSP to the front of the card base.

5. Stamp the sentiment on the focal point (ie: circle, hexagon or whatever you pick). Add the focal point to the exposed cardstock.

6. Finally add some embellishments.

7. Don’t forget to decorate your envelope.  Use this link to see 10 different ways to decorate your envelope to match your card.
