During the Stampin’ Up! It is a two-step stamp set which means first you stamp the outline and then you use the second stamp to fill in the outline with color.
Also, it is a DistINKtive Stamp set which means the stamp has different opacities which creates the shading for you. Notice how the inner ring around the center of the big flower is darker and it lightens in color around the edges. The leaf stamp does the same type of shading for you. DistINKtive stamps really add dimension and depth to the stamped image.
Another benefit of this stamp set is that since it is made from photopolymer, you can see through the stamp when it is attached to your acrylic block. This allows for perfect positioning. When I started stamping over 17 years ago all the stamps were mounted on wooden blocks so it was very difficult to line up one stamped image with another. You couldn’t see the outline of the stamp under the wooden block. I love photopolymer stamps especially with two-step stamping because you can see the outline of the first stamped image while lining up your second stamp over the top of it.

Measurements:
- Highland Heather: 8 ½” x 5 ½” (card base)
- Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼” and 3” x 4”
- Pear Pizzazz: 5/8” x 1 5/8”
Instructions:
- First, using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder, insert the larger piece of white cardstock and run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
- Then attach the white Embossed piece to the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Stamp the flower outline image using Black Memento Pad and your Stamparatus for perfect positioning (attach stamp to acrylic block if you don’t have the Stamparatus)
- Next stamp using your leaf stamps and flower stamps to add color to your flower outline image. The Stamparatus works great or eyeball it into position if you don’t have one.
- Attach the stamped image piece on top of the embossed piece on the front of your card using Dimensionals. Make sure you center it.
- Next using Versamark Ink, stamp the sentiment onto the Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Sprinkle White embossing powder over the versamark ink and shake off the excess. Heat set it using your heat tool.
- Attach the sentiment to the front of card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and add faceted gems to finish it off
- Finally, decorate your envelope to match and send some happy mail to a friend. It will make their day to receive this card in their mailbox!
