Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog Launch
The new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog launched on May 3, 2022 and my wish list grows daily! One new stamp set I just had to have right away was “Limited Edition” on page 119. Today’s featured card uses a stamped sentiment from that set which says “A PAPER HUG FROM ME”. I also used some retired double sided designer paper called Expressions in Ink. I was sad to see that pretty paper go. Basically this card is something old and something new #SOSN2022. I just love the color combination of Pear Pizzazz and Pale Papaya. Then I also used pear pizzazz ink to stamp the Paper Hug sentiment. The Limited Edition stamp set also has other stamps that contain the Stampin’ Up! copyright so you can stamp the back of your card with sentiments like “Handcrafted from the Heart” or “Made with Love” or “A One of a Kind Creation”. Since the Stampin’ Up! copyright symbol appears below the words, you can sell any cards with that copyright stamp and be in compliance with Stampin’ Up!’s Angel Policy.

Color Collections
In case you are not aware, Stampin’ Up! categorizes their line of colors into collections. Pear Pizzazz is part of the Subtles collection. Then there is also the Brights collection, the Neutrals collection, the Regals collection and the Basics collection. Then they have the “In Color” collections which are only available for two years until they retire and five new in colors are launched. Pale Papaya is part of the 2021-2023 In Color collection. So it will be around for another year.
When the catalog launched on May 3rd, the new 2022-2024 In Color collection was also revealed. These new In Colors are so fresh and vibrant that you have to see them in person to appreciate the full beauty of each color. There is Sweet Sorbet (a cross between red and pink), Parakeet Party (a neon green), Tahitian Tide (sort of turquoise), Stary Sky (a little like navy blue), and Orchid Oasis (sort of a purple/blue shade). All the color collections are shown on pages 122 and 123 of the new catalog and the new In Colors are featured in the picture below.
